Nonagon is a nonbinary character in Animatic Battle. They were one of 56 eligible characters able to debut in Object Fool , but failed to do so with 65 votes. they are currently competing in Animatic Battle on team DIET.
Appearance[]
Nonagon is a yellow polygon with 9 sides, they have no legs and almost always have a very big smile on their face. When they speak, their mouth doesn’t move. Instead, they gain a glowing yellow aura around them.
One of the only times Nonagon is seen without their signature smile is in the Animatic Battle intro. they are seen with a stressed look on their face. This was changed in the intro for Seeds For Suckers.
Changes[]
Object Fool (Older Design)
- They are a crudely drawn orangish-yellow colored nonagon, with a lack of legs, but still having arms.
- They are usually seen smiling, and their eyes are smaller than most of the other characters, and are usually shown with a static expression. They also use a BFDI smiling mouth asset.
Object Fool (Newer Design)
- They still have the crudely drawn appearance, but now they have a lighter yellow color scheme in comparison to their previously orangish one.
- They have bigger eyes, and wider smile as well, which is also now drawn.
"M Is For Magic" - Onwards
- Nonagon is now refined in appearance using the line tool to clean up their appearance and make them more symmetrical in shape. They are also back to having their older Object Fool color scheme, being orangish-yellow.
- They also are shown to have more expressions, and are usually seen talking by glowing. their smile is even larger than before as well.
Personality[]
Nonagon is generally a peaceful character, priding themself on the large smile they always wear on their face. They are generally agreeable but often get impatient or agitated, as shown in Animatic Battle 1 where they were agitated by the change in their lucky strawberry's color and when they had to wait for Animatic to decide on the first challenge.
Object Fool[]
It Was Dub Who Joined[]
Nonagon is eligible to debut Object Fool. In their debut audition, they loudly state their name, with it echoing repeatedly in the background.
It Took Four Weeks To Rename This[]
Nonagon fails to debut Object Fool, only receiving 65 votes, the third most of the recommended characters. They thank the viewers for getting a decent amount of votes, despite being unable to join.
So Offended[]
Nonagon did not physically appear in this episode. When Sip-A-Bowl was concerned and wondered what happened to Doorframe due to his absence in the elimination room, Season 17 interrupts her by saying that Doorframe "-must have ran away, never to be seen again, just like Nonagon" This indicates that some time in between "It Took Four Weeks To Rename Ttheir" and "So Offended", Nonagon ran away off screen.
Negative Nancy[]
After every failed debuter and eliminated contestant sat on the bleachers, Eucerin states how everyone was here, except for Doorframe, Shifty, Bowling Ball, and Nonagon themself, were absent. But after Bowling Ball returned and explained where he's been, Nonagon returns holding a sign that says, "I am also back", while stating their name loudly.

M Is For Magic[]
Beginning of the episode:
Bush asks Nonagon if they know what a disc is, but Nonagon doesn't know what it is, replying with a no. Later, when Danger Sign turns out to be a fraud, Nonagon agrees that it's time for him to die, even though they were not there to actually witness the situation in person. When Red Sticky Hand is contemplating about getting sidetracked, Cheez-It proclaims that Nonagon's "lucky strawberry" is becoming a light purple color, and that she has to help it. Nonagon states that they were agitated by this.
After Animatic appears:
When it's time for team picking, Crazy Food and her friends pick Nonagon for their team, admiring Nonagon's large smile. Nonagon states that chaos will unfold if the smile ever leaves their face. Nonagon's team is unintentionally named DIET by Tea. Nonagon is impatient while Animatic is deciding on the challenge, stating that "Nonagon must begin." During the challenge to destroy the letter M, their team decides they like the M's company and want to keep it around, which Nonagon agrees to. Their team hide the M inside of Crazy Food, successfully fooling Animatic and winning safety from elimination. When Doorstopper runs off with SPAS-12 to shoot TOMATER for picking her grass, Nonagon joins their team in chasing them, only to be killed by Bob-Omb's explosion off-screen.
Caffeination Day[]
After the intro begins, Nonagon is recovered along with the several other contestants who died in the previous episode. During the challenge, their team runs off to escape Animatic, but Nonagon stays behind with Crazy Food, stating that running hurts their back. Later, Nonagon sits by Landscape, who is admiring the beauty of life. Nonagon is moved by Landscape's words, acknowledging life. The two of them are soon killed by Animatic, and are recovered at the end of the episode. their team lost the challenge, as all of their team members died.
Seeds For Suckers[]
Nonagon, along with the rest of their team, were seen and caught by Animatic, when they was allegedly trying to run from Animatic. They were trying to look for Weathery, but were immediately sent to the Elimination Area. During the elimination, when Animatic states that the prize for the elimination were the remains of their new arch nemesis, Nonagon finds the remains of Exclamation Mark disturbing. Nonagon was the first member on their team to be safe, and the one to receive the most votes on their team. Animatic throws Exclamation's Mark ashes into their mouth, which get stuck in their teeth. Upset and disturbed, Nonagon says that they did not need that.
After the elimination finished, Animatic calls out DIET for being a bunch of "filthy cheaters" since they apparently never got rid of the m in the episode "M Is For Magic" As punishment, Animatic sends Nonagon and their team to a severe blizzard, where they were isolated from the rest of the cast. After Jej states how their favorite location in the whole wide world would probably be East Greenland, Nonagon asks their team if the blizzard they were in was East Greenland. They started developing icicles in their mouth.
After Doorstopper heard TOMATER talk about Golden Apple touching her grass, Doorstopper goes ballistic. Crazy Food tells her team to hold onto Doorstopper, who apparently runs fast and was successfully able to get her team back to the grasslands.
Despite starting the challenge late due to trying to escape their punishment, Nonagon's team barely survived, as their sunflower seed was growing into a sprout.

Trivia[]
- Nonagon says chaos will unfold if their smile ever leaves their face. Despite this, they have a distressed expression during the Animatic Battle intro from episodes 1-2.
- This might have been because of both Demon Core exploding and Animatic returning from Object Fool.
- However, as of Seeds For Suckers, they have a new intro pose, giving them a nice big smile.
- This might have been because of both Demon Core exploding and Animatic returning from Object Fool.
- Nonagon usually stands in an a-pose, with their arms sticking out to the side at a downwards angle. It is shown that they are able to move their arms freely, as seen when they said, "Seize the stopper!" during the M-destroying challenge.
- Nonagon has died twice, coincidentally, both of their deaths happened off screen.
- Nonagon was originally removed from the show during season 1 due to their recommender's request, as they wanted to include Nonagon in their own show. However, Greeny got permission to use Nonagon again briefly after episode 8's release.
- In the other show Nonagon was in wasn't very noticed, and the account it was made on was deleted, therefore deleting the show as well. (It was called BFABA). Nonagon played as a debuter in the show too.
- Despite not having visible legs, Nonagon claims that they can run. Moreso, they do not like running as it hurts their back.
- Nonagon refers to themself as well as others (almost) exclusively in the third person.
- Nonagon makes a quick cameo in Battle For Dream Island Again. In the 11th episode, "Lots of Mud", where they are seen as a recommended character on the 5th row of the bleachers during a large crowd shot before the episode's elimination takes place.
- However they were recommended by SeeBug, and are referred to as, "Nonagon Polygon", as SeeBug did not actually intend to recommend Nonagon from Animatic Battle and assumed the artist would interpret the recommendation to draw Nonagon from "The Number Playground Chronicle!" instead.
- Nonagon knows how to whistle. According to Greeny, it would be a "really stupid ass whistle''.
- Nonagon is aegoromantic asexual.
- Nonagon's glow animation was played by mistake when Landscape was talking in Caffeination Day
