"M Is For Magic" is the 1st episode of Animatic Battle and the 10th episode of the Object Fool series overall. It was released on Sunday, January 14th, 2024.
Plot
Cold open
The Cold Opening takes place for most of the episode.
The episode starts with Juice Box attempting to do a trick in front of Tea and Landscape, but gets hit by Popcorn running who craves for MiniDisky to listen to her new disc. It is thrown to a record player that shortly summons Specimen 8. Season 17 disapproves the tune, kicking the disc afar. The disc flings into Bush, who asks for more information to Pot and later Nonagon, who they both can't answer because they are either occupied or or not having an answer. School ID claims she is proficient at identifying things, so she takes a closer look before being spooked by Popcorn's yelling of the disk which then flies afar again.
The disk avoids Demon Core and instead hits Danger Sign, which he interprets as the sky falling to Eggnog Jr. She alerts to Popcorn that the sky's falling, who she later tells the news to Meatball, Rainbow Assortment, and Iced Coffee. Meatball builds a bunker with his noodles for the alerted six hide inside until Danger Sign's alleged countdown. B Block falls after and blows the bunker because of being mischievous. Iced Tea yells to the others that Danger Sign needs punishment for his misinformation, so he gets ejected thanks to Shifty and Eject. Bouquet though, comes in, and gives a voice to the others that death shouldn't be the answer to all problems as it is immoral. She is abruptly sent to Baby Stupid Jail and Cane's Cup laughs from outside.
Danger Sign sees the entire planet from space with Nebula Void and gets saved by Red Sticky Hand. Raid praises them, but Pea gets offended as he also wants to be saved. Red Sticky Hand considers that he's already saved which makes him march off to Hives and ask him if he has bees. Hives gets out Bee for Pea to sting himself with and have an excuse to be saved. He calls out to Red Sticky Hand but doesn't respond as he meets jej. Pea and Bee die later which Hives only gets upset of the latter. Slop gestures his idea to Hives that Bee could be recovered using the Recovery Microwave, but Chocolate Milk Carton informs that Bee doesn't have an ID and recovers Pea instead, as he has an ID. Pea marches to SPAS-12, and uses her as a weapon to use at Red Sticky Hand but gets sabotaged by Mushroom, making him shoot to place for Cheez-It to enjoy a delicious gourmet meal with. Mushroom teleports to the cliff for him to recall, as he says this to Season 17 who later becomes alarmed.
Season 17 walks away from Mushroom and later Share as well after he is asked for help of getting Doorframe unstuck. Exclamation Mark helps Doorframe instead and accomplishes in doing so, but he becomes severely exerted. Juice Box, Chocolate Milk Carton, and School ID arrive to the situation. Chocolate Milk Carton informs to the others that Exclamation Mark is dehydrated and demands shlumblo juice as that it is only aid. Tiery and Notepad rush to Yoshi Egg's shop to grab the juice and give it to Exclamation Mark, who deeply thanks them for saving him and gives Tiery his Orb of Darkness and Destruction. Tiery ranks this as a D tier.
Acid comes and borrows Notepad to record the results of Do and Don't's collision. Sip-A-Bowl joins in, but Do disapproves as they claim he'll mess up the experiment. Acid refuses, as she and him are part of the Straw Gang. Do says that he's a mixer, not a straw, which offends Acid, making the two bail out. Acid later asks Sip-A-Bowl if she agrees that he's part of the gang. Sip-A-Bowl is unsure and calls for a Straw Gang meeting for the other members (Chocolate Milk Carton, Silly Straw, Cane's Cup, and Juice Box) to decide. The others either don't bother or agree, which makes Acid part of the gang. He shoves this into Do's face, but they don't get offended, as that's what Acid was hoping for. He turns to TOMATER instead, only being replied of his seriousness of committing suicide. TOMATER no longer heeds him and proposes to Sticky that she and him should pick off grass, which pleases Sticky but not Doorstopper.
Doorstopper calmly says to herself that they're picking off her grass field. She becomes deranged and picks up SPAS-12 in anger. Pea gets cross at her, as SPAS-12 is his new best friend, but Doorstopper pays no regard. A fight ensues with mainly Pea, Doorstopper, and later, Iced Coffee, Bioluminescenty, and Peppermint. Meanwhile, Shattered Ornament tells Bouquet that her wonderful voice is needed to calm down the fighting group, but she says she can't as she's stuck in the cage. Bowling Ball attempts to rescue Bouquet for he shows up of claiming of someone saying his name, but he later becomes a prisoner in the cage as well. Shattered Ornament takes courage into stopping the fight instead by saying that he really likes carrots. The group is soothed for only a while, as Doorstopper resumes her plan and charges at Sticky and TOMATER and uses SPAS-12 to shoot the latter and warns the former. She then returns to the Happy Nice Club with SPAS-12 (Crazy Food, Weathery, and Diaptose being members of the club).
Flasj;h Light and Squirt Gun overhear the club talking about the big smile, both wishing they could smile. Squirt Gun gains an idea if they could make their own smiles using paper. They ask Shoe if they should either use Notepad or Sticky's paper for their smiles and he chooses Sticky. The duo then go to Sticky, with Flasj;h Light claiming to her that orphans would be saved if she gives them two sticky notes. Sticky immediately passes the notes to them, which Flasj;h Light compliments her to. They go to the club with their paper smiles, but Crazy Food reveals that the club members are always accepting others regardless if they can't smile. Flasj;h Light translates this as they both failed and turns back to Shoe, asking why he lied to them, but Shoe tells them he didn't know and only did it because they wouldn't stop asking if he didn't. Squirt Gun's paper is removed, but Flasj;h Light has trouble of removing his. He alarms Squirt Gun, saying that Sticky will know orphans don't exist if she finds out his paper smile. B Block overhears but says to Squirt Gun that even she can be mischievous, she won't expose the truth to Sticky.
B Block immediately tells Sticky the truth and tries to drag her towards them, but it makes Sticky fly out to space. She later falls on Golden Apple and Shifty and Eject come to the scene and mistake her as an alien. Eject claims that Sticky is resisting and has a weapon, which Shifty reacts by sending her to Baby Stupid Jail. Golden Apple also later becomes a prisoner thanks to Shifty as well to protect the innocent from harm. Bouquet tells the coming Red Sticky Hand to help her and the prisoners get out, but they say they need to help Doorframe first as they don't want to become sidetracked again from other obligations, but they do this again by helping Printer do a handstand.
Bob-Omb and Eyepatch are seen doing a bet but Bom-Omb gets hit by a paper from Printer and says to Eyepatch that they might have been murdered by Sip-A-Bowl, yet Eyepatch thinks Clay Brick was the one involved. After Clay Brick says he has been framed and gives his strange speeches, Eyepatch interprets that Bom-Omb was the one who murdered Printer all along and orchestrated the investigation as a cover up. Bomb-Omb is sent to Baby Stupid Jail. SPAS-12 also is sent due to aggravated assault. Cane's Cup comes again and does his last laugh at them before Bomb-Omb explodes due to the compaction, killing all the prisoners and Cane's Cup.
The victims get recovered by the Recovery Microwave and Shifty voices that people be should locked up for real reasons instead. Exclamation Mark replies they all shouldn't lock people up at all. Eject also adds they they will still keep their vow of protecting the innocent, Acid admires that but gets tipped over by them, causing him to spill his acid onto Bom-Omb. Shifty and Eject make up to him by telling Eyepatch that it sucks that he claims Bom-Omb is a murderer.
Oils Paint, bring recently recovered due to an imploded oven, comments to Cane's Cup that looks atrocious without his absent straw, which Cane's Cup freaks out to. He later mans up and walks to Demon Core, as he thinks he's magic and capable of returning his straw. Nebula Void attempts to protect the others, but Demon Core detonates. Animatic makes his debut and saves them afterwards.
After the Intro
Many of the cast are surprised and bewildered of Animatic's appearance. Shoe asks for his identity but Animatic dismisses before killing Exclamation Mark and Share and greeting Shifty. After Pancake Batter says for him to reply why he's here, only for Animatic to ignore again, Clay Brick tells Animatic that he's a bar of soap, causing Animatic to recover his victims and Demon Core, who later gains sentience.
Hives asks Animatic to recover his bee, but Animatic interprets that they need a competition show. It is also revealed that the prize for the show will be "a wonderful GreenyGuy 2- 2 2"! He then commands the cast to form eight teams of eight.
Team Picking
First seen forming a team is Red Sticky Hand and Doorframe, as Red Sticky Hand wants to stick with him in case he needs saving. Raid, Shifty, and Eject also join the team as they are inspired by Red Sticky Hand's life-saving duties. The Straw Gang form a separate team meanwhile, but Juice Box kicks out Cane's Cup as he no longer has a straw. Nacho joins a team with them due to Juice Box's awesome kick and also drag in Bush In A Pot.
While the Happy Nice Club bring Landscape and Tea for their team members, Danger Sign and Eggnog Jr. also team up, with Danger Sign also wanting Nebula Void to join as well. The prisoners of Stupid Baby Jail also do this, with Sticky, Eyepatch, and Yoshi Egg, coming along. Cane's Cup gets saddened of being laid off from the Straw Gang, so Demon Core invites him to form a team, additionally claiming that he could also try to bring his straw back like he wanted. Hives also joins after Demon Core says that he could also try to recover his bee.
Squirt Gun and Flasj;h Light still struggle to remove the latter's sticky note, yet Season 17 forms a team with them as well as Meatball. Printer and Pancake Batter form a team together too, with Pancake Batter bringing along Shattered Ornament and Shoe. Popcorn and MiniDisky also join with them. As Don't and Share form a team together as Share wants to know them better, Do is shunned from them but is invited by Rainbow Assortment and Oils Paint. Don't and Share join Demon Core's team.
Danger Sign and Eggnog Jr, on the other hand, invite Slop, Clay Brick, and School ID, but they don't invite the sole B Block, as she is a bit too mischievous. B Block turns to Meatball's team as a result. Rainbow Assortment's team join too, making Meatball says that it all works out. Demon Core's team is joined with Bioluminescenty and Mushroom, Diaptose's team is joined with Nonagon, and Red Sticky Hand's team is joined with jej and Peppermint. Sip-A-Bowl also invites Notepad for his team. Juice Box asks if he reaches straw quality before Notepad shows a qualified drawing of a straw, leaving the members speechless.
The final five yet not in a team are Pea, Iced Coffee, Exclamation Mark, Buddy Cut Boy, and Cheez-It. Pea is obligated to join Cane's Cup's team as he believes he is a better option that the alternatives. For Danger Sign's team, he wants it to be as safe as possible. He rules out Exclamation Mark for being odd and Cheez-It for being "a bit too extra", but Cheez-It interrupts him and is displeased. Cheez-It then joins the team without Danger Sign's approval to prove that he can be better for him. Buddy Cut Boy also joins, leaving Exclamation Mark and Iced Coffee to join Shattered Ornament's team.
Team Naming
Iced Coffee shows his gratitude nonetheless as Shattered Ornament and him are carrot enjoyers, but Exclamation Mark announces that carrots can cause Vitamin-A toxicity. Popcorn turns to MiniDisky, asking them if there are any vegetables that don't cause toxicity. MiniDisky replies Papaya for their team name, even though it is a fruit. Oils Paint mocks their name from afar prior to Flasj;h Light saying that they think they're better than Meatball. This makes the Happy Meatball smile and the phrase it used for their team name.
Sip-A-Bowl's team initially starts out with their team name as Straw Gang, but it is abandoned as Nacho and Bush In A Pot supposedly don't have straws. Chocolate Milk Carton asks if their name could just be an anagram of the former name. They then settle on Grant Swag. After Tea replies that their previous team name is delightful, incredibly exciting, too, Bowling Ball shows Eyepatch a drawing of a "happy MeatBill", which is used for their team name. B Block shows strong disfavor for its similarity.
After Bioluminescenty suggests Team Die to Pea, which is dismissed, Pea asks their members if their team name doesn't show any doltishness. The members then unintentionally and ironically come up with Object Fool as their team name. For Danger Sign's team, they decide that their team name should be safe and friendly and nothing dangerous. Still, they see an optimist side on only most of the members not being dangerous. For Red Sticky Hand's team name, Raid suggests "The Lifesavers", but jej comes up with something way funnier as their team name, that being "Team Ohio". Their team name is arbitrarily finalized as benjamin.
Challenge
The challenge Animatic chose for this episode was to get rid of all 8 M's he accidentally created. The last team to get rid of the M would be up for “egg-stermination”.
Meatball tells that Animatic that why specifically would they have to get rid of the letter M, since he's the only one there that starts with the letter M and feels the need to stand up for his poor lonely initial. In the background, both Minidisky and Mushroom look at each other as Minidisky points and signals Meatball as crazy. Animatic though, doesn't seem to care about Meatball's argument about the letter M, responding with "BLUBLUBLUBLUBLUBLUBLULU" at Meatball.
A member of Happy Meatbill, Golden Apple suggests Yoshi Egg to eat the their teams 
since Yoshi Egg has incredible digestion skills. But Yoshi Eggs gets scared to eat the , only replying at Golden Apple with a "bleh...." Golden Apple makes fun of Yoshi Egg for being scared to consume a bit ol' lexicon, but even Sticky doesn't blame Yoshi egg, agreeing that the looks a bit is scary. Eyepatch calls them weaklings, proclaiming that he'll eat the but dies as he's ripped in half by the ; a single tear comes out of Bob-Omb as he salutes his friend. Golden Apple tells his team that the reason for Eyepatch dying was due to him not having incredible digestive skills then pulls Yoshi Egg's tongue telling her that she's next as Yoshi Egg screams no.
Buddy Cut Boy talks to Danger Sign but isn't understood which Danger Sign suggest talking to School ID as she might understand. The same happens with School ID not understanding Buddy Cut Boy and suggests Cheez-It but Cheez-It immediately says no and to ask Nebula Void. Buddy Cut Boy tells something to Nebula that makes them meow "For the safety of the young." MOST was the first team to get rid their 
by Nebula Void eating the .Eggnog Jr tells Slop to do his victory dance in celebration of completing the challenge.
Share, a member of Object Fool, tells Don't to eat the 
because of their incredible digesting skills, but that doesn't work, and Cane's Cup says he thinks Don't didn't like the taste. Pea calls this nonsense, saying that they need to get rid of the that Animatic would find “mind bogglingly genius” to guarantee certain safety. Pea makes a plan to create a stack, and have one their heavier teammates jump down from the stack and onto the , crushing it due to the momentum; Bioluminescenty being at the bottom of the stack due to their natural pea gravel, and Hives can be the diver, as he weighs about over three hundred pounds. Demon Core informs Pea that both Don't and him weren't included in the plan, but Pea tells him that both of them are too dangerous to help. Bioluminescenty gets angry at Pea for thinking they could carry Hives when he's that heavy. Mushroom claims he can carry Hives but launches Hives to the sky; Pea replaces Hives with Share to be their new diver.
Team Papaya has the plan, suggested by Popcorn, to scare off the M by saying "OHASHKAFSOFSFASOISDAOUSOIAOIAUSID" over and over to the 
. This instead scares off Printer and makes her run away.
Red Sticky Hand tells the rest of Benjamin members that he's going off to recover Peppermint, with Raid joining them to help recover Peppermint. Doorframe tells them to be quick but Eject jokes about them not being quick which freaks out Shifty, and makes Doorframe worry about that possibility. Jej replies " Heh. Slow. Some people are pretty slow. Like... ...Silly Straw" which Silly Straw hears and slowly walks away from his team in sadness.
Sip-A-Bowl asks Silly Straw where he's going but is told by Chocolate Milk Carton to let him wander off since Silly Straw's feelings are hurt and need to be alone. Acid screams at both of them to forget Silly Straw and focus on destroying the M. Nacho tells Acid to get rid of the 
since acid can melt stuff but Acid tells that he can't since he spilled the acid earlier. Bush in a Pot tells them that notepad is standing which means he has an idea; they all (except Silly Straw) gather around Notepad to see his idea.
We see Squirt Gun tells Meatball to help them since their a team but Meatball refuses to help destroy the 
. Oils Paint says "So much for naming our team after you, get a grip!" but Meatball just says no. Rainbow Assortment screams to assist them but Meatball still refuses and only yawns telling them he's feeling tired. An angry Season 17 yells "PREPOSTEROUS! WE NAMED OUR TEAM AFTER YOU, AND YOU REFUSE TO ABET YOUR FELLOW TEAMMATES!?" Once again Meatball refuses and instead tells them that it's just for this challenge, but Season 17 grabs Meatball's hands, saying "WELL IF YOU'RE NOT GONNA GIVE US A HELPING HAND... WE’LL GET THE HANDS OURSELVES.."; Meatball screams.
A happy Weathery asks what their team is up to and they're all hanging out with their happy mate 
; Tea calling M a quite the meditator. Weathery informs them that they were instructed to get rid of to be safe. Nonagon tells Weathery that the only safety Nonagon needs is the alphabetical character; Dioptase agrees with Nonagon. Dioptase suggest to keep the but Weathery worries about them being up for elimination, Dioptase says "Wouuuld weee...?" as she hides the inside Crazy Food. Nonagon announces their them has completed the task but Animatic sniffs and tells them he can still smell the and to not lie to him. Dioptase reassures Animatic that it's just Spas 12 because they smell like the alphabet; Spas 12 backs up Dioptase. Animatic calls it revolting but true, making DIET safe from elimination. Wheatry considers what they've done is cheating but Dioptase tells them that it's just strategy and not only are they safe but they can keep the M, only needing to keep Animatic from finding out. Wheatry thinks about it as Dioptase takes the to show them her yelling collection, concluding that maybe it's not the worst idea.
A cracked Yoshi Egg lays as Golden Apple agrees that Yoshi Egg's digesting skills aren't as good as he thought they were, then asks Sticky how good theirs is but Sticky polite passes. Bowling Ball yells step aside as he will be taking down the letter, a worried Bouquet screams no but Bowling Ball ignores her and jumps high up to smash the letter. As he slams down on the letter, he creates a whole on the ground and keep pushing down the but fails in destroying the as comes up split in the middle. A sad Sticky stares as TOMATER comes up with a plan and whispers the idea to her. Sticky calls the idea genius and tell her team to follow them.
Back with Red Sticky Hand and Raid, Printer bumps into Red Sticky Hand and tells them that her teammates are scaring her and Red Sticky Hand decides to help her by telling her team that they're scaring her. After Pancake Batter is informed, he asks the team another way to get rid of the . Exclamation Mark then tells the that carrots cause toxicity which scares the and disappears, making Papaya safe from elimination. Team Papaya all dance as break core drums play, Red Sticky Hand asks if he join and is accepted. Printer apologizes to Pancake Batter for getting scared but Pancake Batter tells her that it's not her fault that she got scared; Animatic then jump scares printer for fun, Printer then sobbing about it.
Object Fool (Team) successfully get rid of the by having Share rip the in half, as Demon Core and Don't become the Danger duo after seeing they have a lot in common. Mushroom pushes Share into the ground, disturbing everyone but Bioluminescent, to impress Animatic more but fails in doing so; calling it "meh".
We got back at team DIET with a happy Doorstopper voicing her love of dirt and grass but TOMATER intentionally plucks the grass get her mad which seems to be a part of his plan to destroy the . Golden Apple doesn't understand what he's doing and how the specific spot their standing on is going to help them. Golden Apple is suddenly shot by the bullet of Spas 12 from an angry Doorstopper, this causes Golden Apple to immediately to run away and saying TOMATER's idea sucks.
Doorstopper's teammates spot her going rouge again and plan on stopping her. An angry yelling Doorstopper repeatedly beings shooting toward TOMATER as Spas 12 says "WEE!" Spas 12 bullet all miss TOMATER but do hit the M as both TOMATER and Sticky hold the so it can be destroyed. Crazy Food yells at Doorstopper to stop but she continuous to shoot.
Not far off, Bob-Omb asks if anyone else smells anything burning, but Bouquet hopes he can smell bacon since she could really go for right now; Bob-Omb says "No way, me too!" Doorstopper finally reaches TOMATER and tells "YOU’RE REAAAALLLY TESTING ME TODAY, MATER" with TOMATER just replying to do it already which Doorstopper happily agrees. Bob-Omb then realizes that it wasn't in fact bacon burning but himself burning as he's about to explode.
Animatic from a far distance captures the explosion and declarers it as the best destruction so far and that team Happy Meatbill is safe. A angry Pea tells Animatic that his team should of got a compliment not the other team because they didn't even get to live to see their safety and since they died they shouldn't even be safe. This just annoys Animatic which causes her to screech at Pea, finding him to be a whiny critter.
Back at Meatball, we see the team force Meatball to destroy the with his own arms and legs. Meatball begs them to stop and that he has to protect it but no one listens as the is destroyed as he cries about the s death. Animatic declarers that only two teams are left; Grant Swag and Benjamin. Squirt Gun feels bad about what they did to Meatball and asks Flas'j-h Light if he feels bad but Flas'j;h Light doesn't seem to care, only really wishing he could lick a celery.
At team Grant Swag, Juice Box says he's going to expire by the time Notepad finishes his drawing. Nacho then says he's been sitting in the same spot for so long that he thinks his cheese has started to melt; Juice Box slowly turns toward Nacho with a straight face. Acid is shocked at Bush in a Pot as weed naturally died of intense boredom which Pot finds scary to witness. Sip-A-Bowl seems to be the only one to still be interested in Notepads drawing, Notepad drawing having equal Hives and Peppermint. Notepad done with their drawing closes his paper and beings to walk away as the others follow.
Back with team Benjamin, a stressed Shifty beings to freak out saying they're taking forever to come back and telling Eject jinxed it; Eject jut replying with a LOL. Jej angry tells everyone to just had over there to see what happened and Shifty pushes everyone toward to recovery center. We only see Raid there as he's waiting for Red Sticky Hand to recover Peppermint. Tiery asks were they went but Raid tell them that they are saving someone, like the hero they are. Doorframe tells Raid that peppermint saving since he's dead and Shifty asks Raid why can't he just recover since Red Sticky Hand is busy. But Raid tells them he can't steal a hero's duty and everyone start to argue as Notepad recovers Peppermint.
Once recovered, Peppermint gets angry at the 
being there since there is already two members of his team that have the letter , not needing more, he launches the toward Hives. The entered Hives mouth and when spit out, comes out as a bublebee which proceeds to sting and makes it dissolve. This makes Grant Swag safe and puts Benjamin up for elimination.
After Challenge
Shifty yells about you should never be slow but admits the jinxing was pretty funny. Once Red Sticky Hand returns, they're asked were they were this whole time and reveals that he's been helping another team. An angry jej calls out Red Sticky Hand on the fact that instead of helping their own team, they helped another team, he then starts to slowly get closer as he tells him "WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOUUUUUUUUUU" but is stopped by Raid as he sprays him with insect repellent. Red Sticky Hand calls Raid a hero for saving him and Raid is over joyed about becoming a hero. We then see Doorframe say that's cool and he can be a hero too though.
