Exclamation Mark is a character in Animatic Battle. They were one of the 56 eligible characters able to debut in Object Fool but failed to do so with only 25 votes. They are currently competing in Animatic Battle on Team Papaya.
Appearance
Exclamation Mark is a crudely drawn purple exclamation mark with white scleras and black pupils. He has lighter purple limbs and four fingers on each hand.

Personality
Exclamation Mark is a helpful, caring algebralien. He helps those in need. Although they sometimes act quite odd, they use their powerful abilities to comfort and help others. They are also quite powerful, as seen in the episode “Caffeination Day”, where they were the only contestant able to even remotely harm Animatic during quick rampage.
Abilities
- Saving people: Exclamation Mark seems able to take people out of predicaments, i.e. saving Doorframe. Although, these seem to come at a cost, with them becoming dehydrated.
- Body detachment: We also see that they can detach their lower body, albeit it is very brief.
- Fighting skills: In addition to their somewhat magical-esque powers, Exclamation Mark seems to be good at fighting, catching Animatic off guard and being one of the only contestants to not get killed immediately by it.
Coverage
Object Fool
Exclamation Mark first appears in Episode "It Was Dub Who Joined". He was one of the characters eligible to join Object Fool but failed to do so with only 25 votes.
He later appears in the episode "Negative Nancy", walking with the other failed debuters and eliminated contestants. However, Exclamation Mark did not talk in this episode. They can be seen sitting next to Weathery on the bleachers.
Animatic Battle
Prior to Animatic first making his appearance, Exclamation Mark makes their first appearance in M Is For Magic, just like every other contestant, and they are first seen when Doorframe is stuck. Shortly after freeing Doorframe with a single push, Exclamation Mark becomes dehydrated and begs for Shlumbo Juice. They aren't seen for a while after thanking Tiery and Notepad for saving them.
After Shifty said that people should lock others up for real reasons instead of things that don't matter, Exclamation Mark debates him by saying that the people shouldn't lock people up at all, and let them roam free. When discovering Animatic for the first time, Exclaimation stands next to him, assuming that he likes exclamations, only to get disassembled like a lego piece by Animatic pushing him using his hand.
Exclamation Mark's death caused a few people to awe in horror, as Tiery once said that Algebraliens like them can't be recovered using the Recovery Microwave since they do not have IDs. However, Animatic was able to surprisingly revive him, along with Share and Demon Core. After being revived by Animatic, Exclamation Mark responds with, "Do it again!"
During the team picking, Exclamation Mark, along with Iced Coffee were the last two people to join a team. After Iced Coffee told Shattered Ornament that he was glad to be on a team with him, since he's a carrot lover, despite being picked last, Exclamation Mark comments on the fact that carrots cause Vitamin A toxicity, which led to Popcorn asking MiniDisky to name a vegetable that didn't cause toxicity. Papaya was eventually chosen as their team name despite being a fruit.
Exclamation Mark and the rest of Papaya's strategy for the challenge was to scare away the M, but they ended up only scaring Printer. After they noticed this, Exclamation Mark notified the M that carrots cause toxicity, scaring it so badly that it faded away, thus giving team Papaya a win.
In Caffeination Day, Exclamation Mark first appears next to Rainbow Assortment's torn up corpse, with her colored pencils lodged into their eyes. Shifty later removes the colored pencils, which upsets Exclamation Mark, stating that they have been cursed with sight once again.
Exclamation Mark is next seen during the challenge, which was to survive Animatic's rampage. They stuck with their team until Pancake Batter and Popcorn commented about a blue trail appearing on Shoe's back, which triggers an encounter with Animatic. Everyone but Popcorn and Exclamation Mark run away, and instead, introduced themselves to Animatic, asking him what was his name. Despite Popcorn's warnings, and after Animatic killed her by mutilation, Exclamation Mark ended up in a fight with Animatic. They were able to fend him off for a while before being set ablaze by Animatic's "party trick" and disintegrating into ash.
In Seeds For Suckers, Exclamation Mark was not recovered by Animatic last episode after he set them ablaze to ash. Instead, for the elimination, the prize was their ashes, who Animatic called Exclamation Mark "their new arch-nemesis" During the challenge, Animatic refused to recover Exclamation until the challenge was over. When MiniDisky asked Animatic if he could bring Exclamation Mark back, Animatic, despite having a grudge on them, recovered them back, despite their reluctance before.

- According to Chocolate Milk Carton, Algebraliens like Exclamation Mark are capable of dehydration after overexerting themselves. This can be cured by giving them "Shlumblo juice", a fictional liquid.
- Exclamation Mark is able to "feel" an object's scent.
- Exclamation Mark had an orb of “darkness and destruction”, unknown if he made it himself or if they obtained it through other means. He gave it to Tiery, however, who put it on D tier.
- According to Tiery, Exclamation Mark cannot be revived using the Recovery Microwave, since Algebraliens don't have ID numbers.
- This also means that Animatic is the only one capable of reviving Exclamation Mark.
- Exclamation Mark appears to be masochistic.
- In "M Is For Magic," after being killed and revived by Animatic, they respond with, "Do it again."
- In "Caffeination Day," they achieve their dream of having colored pencils in their eyes. They then say they are "cursed with sight once again" when Shifty removes the colored pencils.
- Again, despite this, he tried to fight Animatic to stop him from killing him in "Caffeination Day". However, he also stayed behind with Animatic and Popcorn while the rest of Papaya ran away, so it's not too clear if he was also trying to protect his team or if he was just trying to protect himself.
- Exclamation Mark, alongside Acid, Printer, TOMATER, Demon Core, Pea, and Do was supposed to be voiced by Sacri in M Is For Magic, however, her microphone was broken at the time when the episode was in production, so Greeny decided to substitute her but only on that episode.
- Exclamation Mark is able to attack Animatic and do considerable damage to him, this shows that Exclamation Mark is as strong as Animatic, if not a little weaker.
