In "M Is For Magic", the team was already mostly formed with "The Happy Nice Club" members. Dioptase announced that they're gonna need members that 'sparkle with a good amount of joy.' Weathery suggested Landscape, since he gives gives them lots of joy because of their gorgeousness. Landscape politely rejected the offer since they wanted to stick with Tea, so Weathery invited her, who happily joined. Weathery told Nonagon that they're perfect for this team because they always have really big smile on their face. Nonagon responded with, "Chaos with unfold if Nonagon's smile fades." Crazy Food says that they could just be called "The Happy Nice Club", Weathery agreed. Doorstopper stated how joyous this was, probably because they came up with their team name so quickly. She then asked Landscape if they were feeling joyous as well, he responds with "Uhh..I think so...?". Tea replies with, "Delightful! Incredibly Exciting Too.." which names their team "DIET".
The team runs away from Animatic, leaving Nonagon, Crazy Food, and Landscape behind to be killed off. The remaining members stop by a Bush to hide in, until Animatic finds them and Happy Meatball, and kills them both. Diet loses since Squirt Gun and Flas'j;h Light stayed in their hole.
Animatic gives the team a punishment for hiding the M, sent very far away to a snowy tundra. The team manages to get back to the challenge grounds because of Golden Apple's messing of Doorstopper's grass. The team manages to win despite being late to the competition, since twoteams had their seeds destroyed.
