Buddy Cut Boy is a male character in Animatic Battle. He was one of 56 eligible characters able to debut in Object Fool, but failed to do so with only 34 votes. He is currently competing in Animatic Battle with his team, MOST.

Appearance

Buddy Cut Boy is a png image of a random boy that Adventures, his recommender, found. The background of the image was poorly removed, taking some of the face with it and leaving some of the background.

• Buddy Cut Boy is a simple poorly cropped out png of a young male child with a poorly done hair cut from a side view. Some of the background is seen due to the intentionally bad cropping, as well the rest of the image also having parts missing. He usually giggles.

Personality

Buddy Cut Boy is usually silent, only occasionally communicating through his giggles. It's hinted that his giggles could mean something bigger than they let on. Presumably, only Nebula Void can understand his giggles. Buddy Cut Boy has been shown to bond well with his fellow giggling contestants, Clay Brick and Slop.

In Caffeination Day, it is seen that he can talk with a high pitched voice. He also can be seen with a drawn eye and mouth at times.

Object Fool

In “I Spy..The Book Series,” the challenge was to find “him,” with “him” being Buddy Cut Boy. Doorframe is the one to successfully find him.

In “It Took Four Weeks To Rename This,” during the debut ceremony, Eucerin states that Buddy Cut Boy sadly only got 34 votes, which is not enough to debut. It cuts to Buddy Cut Boy solemnly sitting(?) at the edge of a cliff, gazing at the night sky, before being flung away.

Animatic Battle

M Is For Magic

Beginning of the episode:

Buddy Cut Boy appears at the beginning of the episode, almost causing Popcorn to trip. Later he is seen stuck in a tree. Rainbow Assortment states that someone needs to save him, causing Red Sticky Hand to get sidetracked again.

After Animatic appears:

During the team picking, Buddy Cut Boy joins Danger Sign's team, which is eventually named Most. During the challenge, he gets the attention of several of his team members, most of whom are unable to understand him. Nebula Void understands his request and eats the M, causing their team to be the first one safe.

Caffeination Day

Buddy Cut boy is stuck inside Shattered Ornament due to Animatic's rampage. Shifty eventually rescues him. During the challenge, Buddy Cut Boy alerts Acid that Animatic is approaching at light speeds. Acid retracts his limbs in shock and is carried away by Animatic into the sunset, to the amusement of Buddy Cut Boy. His laughter is cut short, as Animatic grabs him with an outstretched arm, dragging him off into the sunset. His divided team eventually survives the challenge, since only he and Clay Brick were killed.

Deaths

• The image Buddy Cut Boy originates from is a random image his recommender, Adventures, found.
  • The image used for Buddy Cut Boy originates from this Reddit post. (Warning, the image does contain possible profanity, albeit mild.)
• He is also one of 5 contestants who have a unique spoken language, the others being Nebula Void, Clay Brick, Slop, and Yoshi Egg.
  • Coincidentally, excluding Yoshi Egg, they are all on the same team.
• Buddy Cut Boy is the only recommended character to appear prior to It Was Dub Who Joined, appearing an episode sooner in I Spy..The Book Series.
